ABSTRACT
Once upon a time there was an Englishman who came to our country to learn Arabic. He enrolled at the language school in the centre of the capital and began to study Classical Arabic and colloquial Arabic as well. After one week they saw that he was not making any progress at all. He could not read or write and as for spoken Arabic he could not pronounce even the simplest of words.
