ABSTRACT

Creative therapists are most creative when they draw upon their own natural resources, skills, gifts, talents, and eccentricities. If a therapist is naturally funny, then humor should be accessed in sessions. If one has the skill of inducing boredom, then draw upon it as a means of trance work. The next chapters present cases where I have worked with therapists in order to help them access their own unique resources as therapists. I call this work a “therapy of therapy.”
