ABSTRACT

This session was conducted at a university teaching clinic in the southern part of the United States. As is usual when I teach, the student trainee(T) begins the session while a group of therapists observe from behind a one-way mirror. After a few minutes into the session, I come in to demonstrate how to awaken a session and bring forth a whole therapy in a minimum of three or more acts. In this case, the client (C) has just come from court, where his divorce was made final. He also just finished moving out of his apartment.
