ABSTRACT
It is time for us to pause and weave together the different ideas we have explored. Sartre’s views are complex, and it is not easy to disentangle them from one another. The multiple cross-referencing from chapter to chapter probably gave you a sense of that. This chapter brings all of those ideas together and further discusses the problem of ethics that faces Sartre given the nature of his existentialist philosophy as delineated in his writings of the 1940s.
