ABSTRACT
A frequency dictionary of Arabic Enrollments in university-level Arabic language
programs in the United States have more than
doubled in the past decade and in many cases rival
enrollments in what used to be considered more
commonly taught languages like German. High
school Arabic programs are starting in almost every
state. There is no question that the study of Arabic
has become increasingly popular and widespread.
