ABSTRACT
The first series evaluated the compressive strength of concrete that had been cured using the heating sheet. This series was carried out using small test specimens. The experiments were carried out in a thermostatic chamber at −10◦C and outdoor in Sapporo in November. First, a box that simulated the footing foundations of the concrete was produced. Next, specimens of the fresh concrete were inserted into this box, and the heating sheet was placed on the upper surface. Compressive strength was tested after the 3rd, 7th and 28th day of curing.
