ABSTRACT
Colonel Casey Wardynski is the Director of the U.S. Army’s Office of Economic and Manpower Analysis (OEMA) at the United States Military Academy. He is also the project originator and director of Amercia’s Army, overseeing the development, deployment, and support of the game to the public and within the government since its inception in 1999 and public launch on July 4, 2002. Applying his educational background in economics and policy analysis, Wardynski has spearheaded an innovative solution to the human resource concerns of an allvolunteer military force, and, in the process, directed one of the most widely played games of all time.
