ABSTRACT
This chapter presents a comparative analysis of the state of the art of the IR discipline in several South Asian countries, analyzes reasons for its impoverishment, and identifies alternative sites for knowledge production. It concludes by assessing the prospects and challenges of producing a robust IR in South Asia.
