ABSTRACT
For the purposes of this chapter most of my comments will be related to the practice of PE in schools, with particular reference to Australian primary schools. While the specific initiatives I discuss may be particular to the Australian context, the context that spawned these initiatives has been generally similar in other Western countries such as the UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand etc.
