ABSTRACT

We all have memories of our teachers, some of which leave us unmoved because although they contributed to our well-being and maturation, they made little specific impact on us as people. Other teachers will have made a powerful impression on our lives; their faces, voices and actions are etched into our minds, for better or for worse. Occasionally, a teacher will have had such an influence that she or he helped to turn our life around, give us fresh hope or spurred us to greater achievements than we ever thought possible. Such is the power and responsibility accorded to teachers.
