Approaches offered by parents guiding young children interacting with computers in the home setting are examined in this study. This chapter describes data fi ndings for the participant parents and their 6-year-old children and delves into both qualitative and quantitative study results. Data in the form of strategies, practices, patterns, similarities, and differences within and among parents guiding their children at home computers were collected, analyzed, and interpreted. The fi ndings of the study are utilized to respond to the research questions presented in the study:
1. What strategies do these parents utilize to offer their children guidance and access to computers?
