Comorbidity and Seeming Comorbidity: Problematic Outcomes of Severe and Rigid Dissociative Structuring of the Mind

This chapter addresses questions of comorbidity and seeming comorbidity. How do we understand and work with dissociation and dissociative disorders in the context of other categories of emotional difficulty and the diagnostic constructs of these? I discuss how symptoms of psychosis, personality disorder, and neurosis are manifest in dissociative disorders and how the underlying phenomenon of dissociation exists for many problems in living.
