ABSTRACT
Vivienne Brown has put a series of questions to two of the surviving editors of Smith’s Works. David Raphael responded in the last edition of this Review (2007). For my part it is not easy to confine attention to the Wealth of Nations (WN 1976b) for reasons which will become apparent.
