ABSTRACT

My name is Debra, but everyone calls me Debs. At the time of this writing I am fifty years old. I live and work as a gay male but strongly identify as a straight female. I have always been feminine, never effeminate. I have always been open about who and what I am. I don’t think I could hide it if I wanted to. And because my femininity comes naturally to me, other people pick up on that and react accordingly. Even when dressed in male attire, I am often mistaken for a woman. I find most people, including straight guys, subconsciously relate to me as a woman.
