ABSTRACT
This activity builds on the ideas used in activity 21, ‘Factor walls’, which helped children find factors of numbers. This time we find fractions of lengths using the same materials (Cuisenaire rods or the resource sheet in activity 8 ‘Ten is greater than one’), and the same structure of fitting together the lengths of the rods.
