ABSTRACT
Some authors focus on specific behaviors, whereas others speak to general categories; therefore, it is difficult to discern what medications or families of medications are helpful for what disorders. As Hollander and Wong (1995) state,
"Sexual obsessions and compulsions have long eluded definitive classification and categorization as far as symptomatology, conceptual aspects and treatment."
