T h i s hope is re la t iona l , l i n k e d w i t h sooth ing flesh a n d satisfied m o u t h , to become the b u i l d i n g b lock of the psycho log ica l regula t ion of p h y s i o l o g i c a l needs a n d the f o u n d a t i o n of trust; later, f r o m this f o u n d a t i o n of a f f i l i a t i o n a n d effectiveness, e x c u r s i o n s of e x p l o r a t i o n a n d assertive c u r i o s i t y o c c u r (Lichtenberg, 1989) , a l l o w i n g separat ion w i t h a f f i r m i n g rapprochement .
