ABSTRACT

In this chapter we will consider some of the particular issues relating to inclusive practice in assessment and feedback. The topic is vast, and the first thing to say is that there are many texts that focus on assessment and feedback that could be helpful. Some are listed at the end of the chapter, others are given as web links. Two previous volumes in this series relate to the assessment of written work and of skills and they could be a starting point for reading on this topic as they outline the principles of good practice in assessment and feedback (Haines, 2004; Pickford and Brown, 2006).
