From role to play: Research into action techniques in supervision

This chapter focuses on the uses of drama within dramatherapy supervision. It reviews the nature and extent of the use of methods such as role play and object and image-based techniques, as well as examining the ways in which creativity relates to the process of supervision. The consideration includes a review of the research undertaken by myself and Dokter into dramatherapists' experience of supervision and examines the ways in which supervisors and supervisees use the space.
