ABSTRACT
Th e Activity Focus: Ms. Hunter has the students develop their own ruler to have them learn what a ruler is and what the numbers on the ruler mean.
Ms. Hunter gave a number of one-inch strips to each group. “Today, we are going to use these to measure. I am going to give out a lab sheet. Each group is to use inch-strips and measure the objects listed on the sheet.”
