ABSTRACT
Jean Anyon is the author of Radical Possibilities: Public Policy, Urban Education, and a New Social Movement and Ghetto Schooling: A Political Economy of Urban Education. Her articles on social class, race, and the political economy of schooling have been reprinted in almost fifty edited collections, and translated into four languages. She is Professor of Social and Educational Policy in the Urban Education Doctoral Program at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
