ABSTRACT
In this ®nal chapter we draw from the previous eighteen chapters those themes that could provide pointers for what the future may hold, adding our own observations and suggestions whenever appropriate. Naturally, the themes re¯ect issues around cultural diversity and the persistence of racism, mainly in its institutional form, and keep referring back to the need for change in statutory sector service provision.
