ABSTRACT
Cafeterias (»kaf\«tire¤\z) “What?” you ask. “What’s to know about cafeterias?” Well, for one thing that food court in the student union building didn’t use to be there. All those bright lights reflected in fresh grease stamped “McDonald’s” or “Pizza Hut” were put up only a few years ago. Those minimum-wage workers behind the counter who come and go only came on the scene a few years ago, too.
