ABSTRACT

In the course of time t he epistolary genre is moving towards oblivion. Facing twentieth century electronic bombardment in which the telephone, the fax, and Email, replace conventional mail so effectively, we should be happy that the paper of Raquel’s letters has not disintegrated or even lost its color, as is the case with fax paper, and that her photos have not lost their lustre, as is the case wit h so many massively produced photo negatives.
