ABSTRACT
With the treaty establishing the European Community and with the ratification of the Treaty of Amsterdam, the European Community receives wide legislative rights. The following states are members of the European Community: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
