ABSTRACT
An examination of the most recent issue of Sherma’s (1998) biennial review on planar chromatography shows that more TLC application papers on pharmaceutical drugs and alkaloids than on any other compound type have appeared from 1995 to 1997. The next largest number of entries for TLC application papers is on lipids.
