ABSTRACT
This chapter describes how variation in scene susceptibility and observer sensitivity may conveniently be characterized mathematically using IHIF fit parameters and how such information may be useful in different types of analyses. Selection of scenes and observers for psychometric studies, which was briefly considered in Sect. 6.2, is addressed in greater detail here.
