INTRODUCTION

In the modern days the awareness is increasing about the impact of cholesterol on human health. Although a certain concentration of it is necessary for a living organism, high levels of cholesterol in the bloodstream cause atherosclerosis. Deposits of cholesterol and other fatty substances can build up, eventually converting the blood vessel walls and narrowing the channels, thus leading to heart attacks and strokes [1].
