ABSTRACT
The geosynthetic reinforcements are being used effectively to tensile reinforce soil structures, such as foundations and slopes (Koerner, 1998). The mechanism of reinforcement has been revealed through laboratory as well as field testings. Many successful field constructions implied feasibility of extending geosynthetic reinforcement to other important applications.
