ABSTRACT

The interfacial behavior of gemini surfactants at air-water, oil-water, and solid-water interfaces affects their ability to form stable foams, emulsions, and dispersions [1-3]. Adsorption determines the surface density, surface charge, and surface energy or surface tension properties. The dynamic adsorption and dynamic surface tension affect the interfacial behavior in fast processes as in drop and bubble formation, foaming, and wetting [4].
