ABSTRACT
Main Roads Project Delivery System (2005) stated that there are various issues a client should consider when deciding how to package and deliver a project. The issues are:
1 How the delivery method of a project can assist in the government’s broader priorities;
2 The number and size of packages; 3 Vertical, horizontal or product separation of the packages; 4 The most suitable contract type or process to adopt; 5 The most suitable tendering or selection process to adopt; 6 The most suitable remuneration method; 7 Government policy with regard to support for local communities.
