ABSTRACT

Most contemporary philosophers do not consider panpsychism to be a plausible position, though it is safe to say that the failure of strong physicalism and the growing adoption of property/event dualism will most likely restore panpsychism as a viewpoint to be taken seriously. Indeed, there is some evidence that this is already taking place, even among toughminded analytic philosophers.1
