ABSTRACT
Helping students to see connections (both across the curriculum and between the curriculum and life outside of school) is one of the most powerful ways for teachers to insure that their students learn with understanding, appreciation, and life application. Barbara is well aware of this, and often says, “I’m all about connections” when describing her teaching.
