ABSTRACT

In this chapter, we explore how you can identify and change vicious cycles of behaviour, by means of a diary. We look at two types of diary, suitable for people with either eating disorders or with muscle dysmorphia and compulsive exercise. This stage looks at how you can then attempt to change those behaviours through practical commonsense steps such as meal planning. We look at the importance of being `in the moment', of selfawareness and self-ef®cacy.
