ABSTRACT
This Review section of this special issue follows a slightly different format. Mary Jane Drummond and Marilyn Osborn were invited to prepare essay reviews of a total of seven books published between 1932 and 1989. These books, which span more than 60 years, have all made a valuable contribution to our knowledge of the emotions in teaching and are as vibrant now as they were on publication.
