ABSTRACT
In this final chapter the aim is to outline a coherent and realistic policy response to prostitution. The main focus will be on street prostitution since this is the sector of prostitution which is considered to be most problematic, although some discussion of the off-street trade will also be entered into. These policy proposals are mainly directed to the situation in the UK, although it is anticipated that some elements of the proposed strategy will have relevance for other countries.
