ABSTRACT

One of the strengths of the Pittsburgh Youth Study (PYS) is its ability to demonstrate which factors predict serious violence and serious the from dierent life stages, starting from middle childhood and ending with early adulthood. Recall that the life stages are divided into the following age blocks: middle childhood (ages 7-9), late childhood (ages 10-12), early adolescence (ages 1316), late adolescence (ages 17-19), and early adulthood (ages 20-25).
