ABSTRACT
The United Nations has been intimately involved in drafting treaties devoted to human rights issues that have resulted in seven monitoring bodies, for which the UN provides secretariat functions. In addition, the UN has assisted in establishing several war crimes tribunals. Interpol and the World Trade Organization (WTO), outside the UN framework, are also reviewed below.
