ABSTRACT
The revisions in the test specifications described in the previous chapter and the needs of test users set the stage for the final phase of test design. Attention now focused on two goals—verifying that the new test met psychometric requirements and making the transition from current versions of the TOEFL® to the TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT) as seamless and easy as possible for test users.
