ABSTRACT
In Chapter 6 we discussed how individuals or groups deceive others on the Internet. We also touched upon the sorts of lies people might tell their online partners. This chapter considers lies told to potential romantic partners on the Internet by examining how online daters present themselves on online dating sites.
