ABSTRACT
Inspired by the idiosyncratic arrangement of the final chapters of al-Takarli’s al-RajP, we have chosen to split an essay on literary innovation in the Arabic novel into two parts: the first is the introduction to this work and the second is this final chapter, which will summarize the findings of our research and place our authors into the wider context of contemporary Arabic literature.
