ABSTRACT

In Chapter 3, stakeholders and the place of supply chain partners in project procurement delivery was discussed. Chapter 5 linked strategy with creating value in projects through procurement choices, the translation of project vision into managing portfolios of projects and strategically choosing projects as well as aligning available resource combinations through strategic procurement decision making. Chapter 9 stressed the value of procurement choices relating to forms of collaboration as triggering innovation. These chapters underpin this case study chapter and provide a basis for extending concepts raised.
