ABSTRACT
Up to now this book has dealt with different topics around how learning and non-learning take place. I now move on to discuss various types of conditions that can be of significance for learning. In the first place these are different kinds of general preconditions or dispositions in the learner, which I take up in this chapter. The following two chapters deal with learning and life course and different types of learning contexts.
