ABSTRACT
I wrote in my autobiography that it frustrated me when teachers taught only to the kids who “got it.” I found that my math teachers seemed to have fun with the advanced students and got frustrated with those of us who were not getting the concepts. My favorite thing about this course was that it did not feel like people who struggled more with math were left out or left behind. Instead it felt like we learned more when people asked questions about what they did not understand.
