ABSTRACT
In this introduction, the many facets that make up technical design will
be described in an attempt to illustrate a complicated processwhen seen
in isolation. In reality, however, it represents a series of skills that are
acquired progressively by most designers in addition to those intuitive
skills they are already blessed with.
