ABSTRACT
Every day the clothes actor's put on, the makeup they do or do not apply, and the hairstyle or facial hair they choose all sit within an image of them self that is very carefully chosen. An actor needs to read that image carefully and make sure that it is what they wish to present in their chosen profession. This is also a good foretaste of what to do when playing a role, when creating the precise and accurate image that character will have. Going for auditions these days often means going with the correct image, and that means although actors cannot change the central message, they can change the trimmings. What someone are looking at is what actors were born with, and that is that, plastic surgery excepted. There is also their parentage, breeding, education, and current lifestyle to consider, but basically it is in their genes.
