ABSTRACT
American theatre and opera director Michael Kahn is the artistic director of the Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, D.C., and director of the drama division of the Juilliard School in New York, where he has been a member of the faculty since the founding of the school in 1968. This interview was conducted in January of 2002.
