ABSTRACT

Hi, my name is JoAnn. I'm a head resident at New England College of Design and Art (NECDA). We live in a cold climate, and spend a lot of time indoors-unless we are going to class or skiing. The skiing here is just incredible; you can go anytime from October to March. We have a lot of students from privileged backgrounds-senators' kids, students whose parents are leaders of business and industry in New York, even a prince from overseas. I have really enjoyed my three years on staff, especially my role as a head resident this year. My first year was a tough one though. Things just got out of hand way too fast on my floor, and we never quite recovered from it. I've turned into an antitechnology person as a result. Let me explain.
