ABSTRACT
This photo-text chapter has as its starting point an article I produced for The Archi-
tects’ Journal in 2002.1 The article discussed the work of the artist and architect collab-
oration Sophie Warren and Jonathan Mosley, focusing in particular on their newly
completed house in the Redcliff area of Bristol. My intention is not to revisit my own
work of journalism. Rather, I will draw attention to an aspect of the article that is seem-
ingly an accident of reproduction and outside the intent of any specific agent as such.
