ABSTRACT
This chapter examines aspects of the curriculum that are adapted in special schools giving flexibility in what is taught: curriculum content; the time allocated to subjects and areas of the curriculum; modifying the depth and interrelationships between programmes of study; and developing other features. I briefly look at the use of thinking skills in the curriculum of the special school.
